Consultation

A consultation of typically 15 minutes is booked with a nurse/therapist. A consultation is a forum to discuss your skin type, address a particular skin concern or to discuss a cosmetic procedure/treatment that you may be interested in. Prior to all treatments, a complimentary consultation is required to assess medical suitability. Our team reserve the right to determine customer treatment suitability and can at any time, refuse to treat. Consultations are for:

  • Anti-wrinkle injections
  • Collagen remodelling
  • Dermal fillers
  • Dermal needling
  • Laser hair removal
  • Laser for pigmentation and redness
  • Laser skin rejuvenation and tightening
  • Facial peels
  • Fat reduction
  • Microdermabrasion
  • Red vein removal
  • Skincare advice

Arrival Time for Treatments

Please ensure that you arrive in plenty of time for your appointment as arriving late will not only lessen your time spent with us, but the effectiveness of your treatment also. If you are too late for an appointment to be completed in the time available we may have to reschedule to another date and time. As a courtesy to all our clients, treatments are completed as scheduled.

Cancellation Policy for Treatments

We understand that sometimes it is necessary for you to change your appointment. Out of consideration for others, we kindly ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you wish to change or cancel your appointment. If you have more than one late cancellation of an appointment, we may ask for a deposit ($39) to secure your future appointments.

No Show Policy for Treatments

We understand that sometimes it’s not possible to make your appointment. Out of consideration for others, we kindly ask that you provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you cannot make your appointment. If you have more than one no show to an appointment, we may ask for a deposit ($39) to secure your future appointments.

Change of Mind

We have a no refund policy on purchases if you change your mind so please choose carefully. All refunds will be provided where required under the New Zealand Consumer Guarantees Act. Treatments and services are not transferable to other individuals or outside of Lovely by Skin Institute.

Prepay Treatments and Packages

  • If you purchase a prepay series for treatments, or purchase a package you will save an amount according to the pricing schedule.
  • There is no refund on pre-pay and packages for change of mind and the credit is not transferable to other individuals, treatment areas or outside of Lovely by skin institute.
  • The only exception is if a package is purchased prior to a consultation and subsequently at consultation we find you unsuitable for treatment; you can either refund or transfer your credit to another treatment.
  • If post consultation your medical suitability changes deeming you unsuitable for treatment, we will extend your expiry date to 1 year (if pregnant) or apply the amount as a credit for you or one nominated other to use towards other treatments.
  • Prepay have a 12-month expiry date
  • 24 hours notice is required for any pre-paid or package appointment cancellations. If you have more than one late cancellation/no show to an appointment, we may ask for a deposit ($39) to secure your future appointments.
  • You agree to these terms by purchasing pre-pay or treatments or packages.
  • Promotional discounts are not applicable to pre-pay treatments or packages they are already discounted.
  • Prepay treatments can not be included in any Direct Debit payment schedule

Cosmetic Injectables: Standard Terms for Cosmetic Injectables

  • Prior to all injectables treatments, a complimentary consultation is required with one of our Appearance Medicine Nurses to assess medical suitability.
  • Our team reserve the right to determine customer treatment suitability and can at any time, refuse to treat.
  • The price for the area treated is based on a maximum number of units which is our general recommended dosage and the type of product used for the treatment. You may require less or more units to treat the selected area than the general recommended dosage.
  • If more than the maximum number of units is required, based upon the Nurses assessment of individual’s needs, desired outcome and genetic makeup (both men and women may vary) to treat the selected areas, additional payment will be required at the standard per unit price as advertised in our pricing schedule.
  • No refunds or reduction in price is available if you cannot, or cannot safely, use all of the general recommended dosage units in the one appointment (except for the Glamourised Lips package).
  • All treatment packages can only be used by one customer within the one treatment appointment (all at one time) except for the Glamourised Lips package that must be taken over two sessions.
  • Cosmetic injectable treatments are a prescribed medicine. For treatment risks and benefits please ask our experienced medical professionals or visit http://www.medsafe.govt.nz/ for consumer medicine information. All standard promotional terms and conditions apply.

Website Use

The terms and conditions outlined here apply to all users of the Lovely by Skin Institute website (http://www.lovelybyskin.co.nz) and to all purchases of product that are made from Lovely by skin institute (when you see the words “we”, “us” or “our” on this website it is also intended to mean Lovely by skin institute).

All terms and conditions are current, although subject to variation from time to time and we reserve the right to vary our terms and conditions for any reason and without notice to users in order to meet business demands and/or comply with any relevant laws. Viewing and using our website on one or more occasions deems that you have read, understood and accepted all of our terms and conditions. If you are unclear or have any concerns about the information contained herein, or require further assistance, please do not hesitate to contact us at the address below. If you do not agree to any of our terms and conditions or with the terms of our Privacy Policy, you should immediately cease your use of our website.

Governing Law

We are a New Zealand based Company and supply goods and services within New Zealand, therefore by your use of this website you submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the New Zealand Courts and our dealings with you are governed by New Zealand Law. If you do not agree to submit to the laws of New Zealand, then you should immediately cease your use of our site.

Liability

We will take reasonable care to ensure the information presented in our website is accurate and the opinions given (if any) are fair and reasonable. We cannot and will not be held responsible for errors or misstatements or be liable whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for any loss or damage caused (whether direct, indirect, consequential, special, or loss of profits). If you feel any of the information contained on our website is misleading or inaccurate, please bring it to our attention immediately.

Advertising

From time to time there may be advertising displayed on our site. We will take all reasonable care to ensure the advertising is relevant or useful to our users however we will not be responsible for the content of any of the advertisements and give no warranty about the truth or accuracy of any representations made in those advertisements. It is your responsibility to confirm the accuracy of any representations or special offers made with the supplier concerned when you respond to or rely on their advertisement.

Pricing

We supply goods and services in New Zealand, so all goods on our website are advertised in New Zealand dollars (NZ$) and include New Zealand Goods and Services Tax (GST) of 15%. We reserve the right to change advertised prices at any time before your order has been processed and payment accepted.

Promotional Items

From time to time we may offer promotional items being treatments or products. Promotional prices will be displayed and are only applicable to the promotional period stated. Treatments and/or Products offered on promotion must be purchased & the first treatment taken in the time the promotion is on offer. Any refunds will be administered in line with the Consumers Guarantees Act and the maximum refund amount will be the amount that was paid by the customer at the time of sale and not the listed price of the treatment or product. Buy 1 get 1 free promotions must be purchased in the same transaction.

Gift Vouchers

Gift Vouchers are available and are valid for one (1) year from date of purchase or as printed on the voucher for the treatment or amount specified. If no treatment is specified then they may be used for the following services or product offered by Lovely by Skin Institute where the gift voucher is being redeemed, to the dollar value specified.

Gift vouchers can only be redeemed for:

  • All treatments/services
  • Skincare product/s

Gift vouchers can only by redeemed at Lovely by skin institute. Gift vouchers may not be used in conjunction with any other special promotions or offers. They cannot be refunded. No change or credit can be given. Lost vouchers will not be replaced.

Anyone holding the gift card can use its value to make purchases, so your gift voucher should be kept secure – Lovely by skin institute is not responsible and are not liable for any loss suffered by you as a result of a lost or stolen gift voucher. Gift vouchers will be void if they are defaced, mutilated, altered or tampered with in any way. We may subject gift vouchers to verification and security checks at our absolute discretion. We may cancel any gift voucher, or the gift voucher scheme, for any reason at any time without notice. If so, we may either provide a refund or a replacement gift voucher of equivalent value unless we reasonably suspect fraud in relation to a gift voucher.

Special offers or promotions that appear in a publication or our email newsletter may only be redeemed until the date specified in that publication or email newsletter. Other conditions may also apply.

There are no discounts given on the purchase of gift vouchers.

Product Returns and Replacement

Unopened products in their original packaging will be accepted for a refund if returned within 30 days of the date of purchase. Makeup products will not be accepted for return/refund. All unopened retail products will be given to the store manager to assess the reasons for return and determine if a refund should be given.

Any goods that are faulty can be returned in original packaging. Lovely by Skin Institute Limited must be notified of any such damage within three (3) days of purchasing. At this time, the return process will be advised. Once the faulty item has been returned, we will issue a replacement item.

Changes to Terms and Conditions

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions at any time by notifying users through our website.

Customer Feedback Survey Terms and conditions

To enter:

  • You must have had a completed appointment with Lovely by skin institute during the month of entry, no minimum spend
  • You must complete the survey from the link in your thank you email or text?
  • Entry must be under the name and email address in your profile with Lovely by skin institute
  • One entry per calendar month
  • The winner will be drawn randomly on 4thof the month (or the next working day)
  • The winner will be notified by email and $100 will be added to your Lovely by skin institute profile to be used at any Lovely by skin institute store
  • The winner cannot use the prize for injectable treatments

Me Time Monday

Me Time Monday Boost Peel treatment is $89 (value $109). Me Time Monday Cleansing Microdermabrasion is $69 (value $99).

Me Time Monday is available on 22 & 29 March and 5, 12, 19 & 26 April 2021 at Lovely by skin institute stores as follows: Newmarket, Manukau, Commercial Bay, LynnMall & Sylvia Park.

The treatment must be had and paid for on one of the Me Time Monday dates as listed above. Bookings are subject to availability.

Payment must be made in full and the terms of our cancellation and refund policy.

Direct Debit Terms and Conditions

  1. This Agreement

1.1. This agreement allows you to pay for your treatments using direct debit.

1.2. This agreement covers the rights and obligations in respect of your account including:

a. how and when your direct debit commences and ends;

b. your obligations in respect of this agreement;

c. how we manage the direct debit for treatments and products;

d. how to access information about the direct debit agreement;

1.3. This agreement contains defined terms. You can identify a defined term by use of capital letters.

  1. In this agreement

2.1. “We” means Lovely by skin institute Limited and “our” and “us” have corresponding meanings; And

2.2. “You” means the person named as the direct debit agreement and “your” has a corresponding meaning And

2.3. “Treatment plan” means a Series of treatments, for which you have been confirmed as medically suitable at a consultation with us And

2.4. “Series” means two or more treatments which are redeemed over a period longer than one month

  1. How this agreement commences

3.1. This agreement commences when:

a. You have agreed a “treatment plan” with us;

b. You have completed and signed a direct debit authority form;

c. You have signed the Lovely by skin institute agreement;

d. You have received your direct debit payment schedule;

e. You have paid a 20% deposit and a set-up fee;

3.2 We reserve the right to approve or reject your application but will notify you should we choose to reject your application.

  1. How the agreement ends

4.1. This agreement will end when the balance owing has been paid in full.

  1. What treatments can you pay for using your direct debit

5.1. You can use your direct debit agreement to pay for your agreed “treatment plan” at standard pricing.

5.2. You can alter your “treatment plan” as medically required and your current payment schedule will be revised, a new signed agreement will be completed, and a payment plan provided.

5.3. You cannot use your direct debit agreement to pay for treatments, products, pre-pay series and packages outside of your “treatment plan”.

5.4. You cannot use your direct debit agreement for promotional offers; however, you are able to purchase and pay directly for current promotional offers in addition to your direct debt agreement.

  1. What you agree to pay

6.1. An upfront deposit of 20% on signing the agreement.

6.2. Any fees applicable.

6.3. You agree that the direct debit will pay for:

a. The standard cost of treatments and any products in your “treatment plan”

b. Your first payment will commence the month following the date of deposit, on either the 2nd, 9th, 16th or 23rd of the month, and continue in the payment frequency selected.

c. The remaining balance will be equally divided into _ equal __payments. The payment amounts will be provided to you in the repayment schedule outlining the value of each payment and date. Payments will be debited from a bank account nominated by you.

  1. General Fees

7.1. There is a set up fee of $10.00.

7.2. You are responsible for paying your own bank charges, if any.

7.3. We do not charge interest.

  1. Default

8.1. If you default you will be charged $5.00 per missed payment. This will be added to your credit balance and your direct debit amount will be adjusted to accommodate this.

8.2. We will re process the direct debit within seven days of default

8.3. If you have two consecutive default payments, your account will be suspended, and no further treatments can be completed until payment is made.

8.4.If an outstanding payment isn’t made within 30 days of first default, your account will be terminated and referred to collection agencies.

8.5. If we incur any costs associated with collecting payment for your credit account, including but not limited to collection agencies, lawyers’ fees, bank charges, or other costs we deem reasonable, we will seek recovery of these costs from you.

  1. Management of direct debit

9.1. You must be 18 years of age.

9.2. To establish a direct debit the minimum treatment plan must be $500 including GST.

9.3. You may only hold one (1) direct debit with us at any one time. The balance needs to be re-paid in full before you are can establish a new direct debit agreement with us.

9.4. The direct debit payment timeframe will be a maximum of six months.

9.5.You cannot extend your direct debit past the initial payment plan timeframe.

  1. Treatments

10.1. Standard cancellation and no-show policies apply –You need to provide a minimum of 24 hours’ notice if you wish to change or cancel your appointment. If insufficient notice is given or you don’t turn up to your appointment the treatment maybe forfeited if insufficient notice is given.

10.2. The cost of treatments is the standard retail price as set by us at the time of the agreement.

10.3. All treatments that are purchased using direct debit, must be completed within 12 months of the commencement date of the direct debit, or they will be forfeited.

10.4. Our menu of service detailing all treatments and costs is available on request, or online at www.lovelybyskin.co.nz.

10.5.You are responsible for being aware of the cost of any treatments supplied to you.

  1. Checking your account and obtaining statements

11.1. You can check or update your account details by contacting us at accounts@lovelybyskin.co.nz.

11.2. We will not issue statements unless you ask us.

  1. Cancellation of direct debit

12.1. You may cancel your account at any time. The remaining cost of all treatments received up to the cancellation date are liable for repayment to Lovely by skin institute at the standard retail price. All treatments received must be paid in full prior to, or at the time of cancellation.

12.2. You can cancel your account by contacting us at accounts@lovelybyskin.co.nz.

12.3. A cancellation fee of $125 will be charged.

12.4. Standard refund policy applies -There is no refund on direct debit payments for change of mind and the credit is not transferable to other individuals, treatment areas or outside of Lovely by Skin Institute. The only exception is if your medical suitability changes, deeming you unsuitable for treatment and a medical certificate is provided(at your own cost). We will suspend direct debit payments for up to 12 months, once we have received payment for all treatments received to date. Alternatively, you can apply the amount as a credit for you or one nominated person to use towards other treatments.

  1. General

13.1. For best results, the frequency of appointments need to follow the recommend treatment interval as outlined in your “treatment plan” and you need to follow the prescribed before and after treatment care for your skin as discussed with the Lovely by skin institute team

13.2. Any treatments taken separately to the ones on the direct debit account, or products purchased, must be paid for in full at the time of service. They cannot be applied to the active direct debit agreement.

13.3. We may amend these terms and conditions at any time. If we do so we will notify you at least 30 days before the amendment takes effect by email and publish information about the changes on our website.

13.4. We will collect and store your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1993. For our privacy statement and information about how to request access to and amend your personal details please contact us as above.

14.1. From time to time exclusive offers may be available to new Direct Debit customers for a limited period of time
